The Cheltenham Junior Football Club is excited to announce that registrations for the 2024 season are now open!

Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, this is your chance to be a part of the vibrant and inclusive Cheltenham Panthers community.

To register for the 2024 season, please follow these steps:

Returning players must register and pay using the PlayHQ platform.

Follow the registration process and submit payment through PlayHQ.

Players who are new to the club and/or transferring from Auskick can also register via PlayHQ. Complete the registration process on PlayHQ and make the necessary payment.

Registrations for new players transferring from another club cannot be finalised until the transfer is approved. If you are transferring from another club to CJFC, firstly please notify your existing club.

You must then complete the SMJFL transfer form and email it to registrations@cjfc.com.au.

Our registrar will request the transfer and once approved by all interested parties, you will receive an email prompting you to complete the online registration.

If you are planning to train at another club prior to completing the transfer process, you must fill out the Intention to Transfer form and return it to the club you are registered at.

Once the transfer is approved, they can proceed with registration and payment through PlayHQ.

SMJFL Fee: $55

Early bird - $225

Standard - $275

Registration fees include a training top and training bag for each player.

If you have any financial concerns please contact treasurer@cjfc.com.au to discuss. All financial matters will be strictly confidential within our Executive Committee and General Manager.

If you are eligible to receive the $600 capped Family Fees, you must pay the online fees in full and then email treasurer@cjfc.com.au to claim your refund.

Please note that the CJFC registration does NOT cover Ambulance Subscription. You need to have your own ambulance cover or you will be liable for costs involved if an ambulance is called. For more information on our basic club insurance please go to www.smjfl.com.au

It is the expectation that at least ONE PARENT or GUARDIAN holds a current Working With Children Check. WWCC is compulsory for your participation at CJFC.

The Victorian Government’s ‘Active Kids’ voucher program is designed to ensure that all children in Victoria have the opportunity to participate in sports and other physical activities. The program provides eligible families with $200 vouchers, which can be used at the Cheltenham Junior Football Club. Parents can add their voucher numbers at the bottom of the checkout page during registration.

To apply for the vouchers, families can submit their applications starting from Tuesday 10 October 2023 until allocations are exhausted. The vouchers have an expiry date of Tuesday 30 April 2024, so it’s important to apply and utilise them before that date.

The vouchers can be used to pay for sporting equipment, uniforms, and memberships in a wide range of activities, including club cricket, dance, and learn-to-swim classes for toddlers.

To be eligible for the vouchers, children must be Victorian residents, aged 0 to 18 years, and their names should appear on a valid Commonwealth Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. They should also be named on a valid Medicare Card at the time of application.

There is also a special consideration stream available for children residing in Victorian Care Services, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants, and international students up to 18 years old at the time of application.

It is recommended that parents apply for the vouchers as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this opportunity to support their children’s participation in sports and physical activities.
