The Cheltenham Junior Football Club is an independent, totally self-funded club, managed by volunteers. We are a family Club with a 30 year history. The principles of the Club are to provide players with a safe and friendly environment in which to develop their skills, build friendships and provide a family environment for both players, parents and supporters. The Club’s philosophy is based on participation and to provide players with the opportunity to develop and enjoy the game. In 2020 we hope to field more than 15 teams. In addition, the Club is affiliated with local Auskick which has over 200 participants.
In an age of social media and electronic devices, Sport is such an integral part of any child’s life, encouraging outdoor activity, sportsmanship and the opportunity to be part of a team. So too, is Sponsorship vital to the ongoing development and prosperity of the Club. Registrations alone do not provide enough funds to cover all the associated costs and expenses of fielding teams, (league & umpiring fees, insurance costs, first aid goods and training etc), and this is without considering funds for any upgrade or ground maintenance work.
Sponsorships are crucial and will directly assist;
- Coach & Player development & Planning & additional sessions to improve specific skills throughout Season – handball/kicking
- Membership Assistance Fund, to ensure that every child who wants to play football, can.
- Playing Fields – maintenance & upgrades, where necessary
- Annual Club expenses in; League & umpiring fees, first aid goods/training and insurance costs;
